The mission of the International Diabetes Federation is to advance diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide.

Camp seeks to empower children with diabetes

Some 70 children with diabetes from 15 different countries from the Middle East and North Africa region are attending the Al Bawasil Camp being held by the Qatar Diabetes Association and sponsored by Al Jaish Sports Club.

Recent Events in the Region

World Diabetes Congress Dubai 2011

A total of 15,100 participants were recorded at the World Diabetes Congress 2011 in Dubai, making this Congress the largest in IDF history. The attendance rate is a 20% increase on the previous IDF Congress held in 2009 in Montreal.
